iPowder Privacy Statement

iPowder respects and values every user's privacy and the security of their research data. This statement explains how information is collected, used and protected when you use the iPowder website, XRD analysis software and AI analysis services.
1. Information collection and use
To provide its software and online services, iPowder may collect registration information (such as your name, email address and institution), necessary device and access logs, and records of AI service usage and payments.
This information is primarily used for account management, software operation, AI services, technical support and system improvements. We do not sell users' personal information or research data.
2. Research data and AI analysis
Conventional XRD analysis in iPowder mainly runs locally on your device. When you use AI chat and intelligent analysis, some XRD data, analysis parameters or related research information may be uploaded to servers and, as required for analysis, transmitted to third-party large language model providers.
To improve the agent's scientific analysis capabilities and service quality, some submitted data may be used for agent training, algorithm improvements and performance optimization. However, it will never be used for other purposes without your authorization.
You retain ownership of your research data and results at all times. We recommend that you do not upload or process classified, commercially confidential, unpublished or other sensitive research data through iPowder's AI chat.
3. AI chat records and data storage
iPowder AI chat history is stored only on your local device. iPowder servers do not store your complete conversation history.
While you use AI services, request content and necessary data may be temporarily transmitted to servers and third-party AI providers for processing. Third-party providers' data processing may be governed by their own privacy policies.
4. Data security and your rights
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information against unauthorized access, use and disclosure.
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information and related data stored on our servers. Information that must be retained by law will be handled in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
5. Third-party services
iPowder may integrate third-party models such as DeepSeek and Qwen, as well as necessary payment and infrastructure services. When you use these features, necessary information may be provided to the relevant providers to fulfill your request.
6. Operator and statement updates
iPowder is currently in a test phase. The current website operator and personal information processor is 上海劳厄科技中心 (Shanghai Laue Technology Center). The operator and services may change when formal operations begin. We will inform users through updates to this statement or other appropriate means.
